Fund-Studio supports a real-time position keeper, which keeps track of all active positions in the portfolio.

• Trades can be booked manually into Fund-Studio, or supplied electronically from upstream Order Management Systems (OMS) or other sources.
• Positions are separated by Fund/Portfolio, custodian account, strategy and individual security.
• Configurable tags can be defined on the trade, allowing positional break-out at any level of granularity.
• Information includes financed positional data (quantity financed, repo interest accrued).
• Information includes accrued interest for fixed-income positions.
• Corporate actions (stock splits, stock dividends and cash dividends) are automatically applied to positions.
• Positions can be reported using a multitude of dimensions; for example all today's positions by fund, or movement over time of a specific position, etc.
• Historical positions can be marked as closed, with prior period adjustments showing up in today's position in "as-of" columns; or they can be left open, based on the conventions in place at the fund.
